Dr. Dre hits the studio with fellow Compton representative Problem.
Dr. Dre seems to be focused more on other artist’s careers or his headphone line rather than getting out his own material. Thus many fans assume his long-awaited album, Detox, will never actually see the light of day. Game, while talking to VIBE TV, shared this opinion as well.
The Compton rapper compared Detox to Jesus– “Detox, it’s like Jesus,” he said. “Will you ever get to see Jesus? It’s like a hip-hop Jesus.”
Although we’ve seen glimpses of Detox throughout the years by way of singles, Game is still weary that the LP will ever be released.
“Dre’s a hard guy to please,” Game continued.”He’s so critical… If he doesn’t become 100 percent happy, then we’ll probably never end up hearing Detox. I’ll say never.”
